When I first got Win10 (I've reinstalled Win10 since the first effort) I had to use I can verify that KOTR runs fine on Win10 64bit (and by extension 32bit) using a dedicated graphics card, It sounds like the game loads but is not running correctly. You have neglected to tell us what the problem is. Since the first person to reply pointed out I forgot, my problem is that once the launcher pops up and I press 'game' the program starts to load but doesn't even show the first logo screen before a notification that the game stopped working pops up and makes How do you check what graphics you have, and which one does KOTOR need to work on Windows 10? If that isn't the problem either, would uninstalling and reinstalling help at all? Think I've tried is the graphics card one, and I have no idea how to check.
I've tried playing with the full screenĭisabled, disabling the movies, adjusting the color and resolution both separately and together, running the game as an administrator, and running it in every compatability mode available.
(It originally belonged to/was first played by my dad.) It worked just fine on both Windows XP and Windows 7. I've had a hard copy of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, aka KOTOR, for probably 8-11 years now.
